Vote For Jake to win the Davey O’Brien National Quarterback Award, an award given to the nation’s top quarterback. Currently, Jake is in 3rd place for the prestigious award.

With 2 games remaining in the season and the Apple Cup approaching, some press about the Davey O’Brien Award, school records, and Jake’s inevitable future decision:

On Sunday, representatives from the Davey O’Brien Award visited Jake and the Portland State vs. Washington basketball game to publicize his candidacy for the National Award. Jake is currently third in the voting. reports that Jake has moved up the University of Washington record books, and has broke into the top 10 single season & career marks in several categories.

And, as the end of the season fast approaches, Coach Sarkisian was a good sport with a ton of questions regarding Jake’s future decision. Both the UW Daily and the Seattle TImes detail how Sarkisian plans on handling the situation.

Gameday against UCLA. The game is at 12:30, and will be televised on FSN.

After a much needed bye week, Jake and the team return to Pac 10 play on the road. Jake has been questionable with a thigh bruise, but will start today.

Bob Condotta from the Seattle Times has some quotes from Jake at the weekly press conference.

The Inland Daily Bulletin from LA writes that although UCLA didn’t go against Jake last year, coach RIck Neuheisel has not forgotten about him.

Percy Allen of the Seattle Time writes that Jake is ready to go for the game.
